Bits and Bites

In a large roasting pan mix together:

5 cups of Shreddies

4 cups Cheerios

4 cups Rice Chex

4 cups pretzel sticks

Peanuts or mixed nuts to your taste.

1 box Cheese sticks or Cheez Nips mini crackers.

Melt in a 4 c. glass liquid measuring cup (in the microwave):

1 cup brick-style margarine (I don’t substitute butter here)

Mix well into melted margarine:

2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp celery salt

1 tbsp each garlic powder and onion powder

1/2 tbsp chili powder (optional)

Pour over the cereal mixture in the toaster and toss well.

Bake at 200F for 2 hours mixing occasionally. Turn off the oven and leave the pan in until cooled.

Store in zip lock bags or Mason jars until ready to eat.

You can use any number of cereals with this recipe and play with the amounts of the dry ingredients to suit your taste.
