This holiday always provides the best cooking and baking smells…..ham roasting in all its sweet- glazed smokiness…hot cross buns and carrot cake’s cinnamon nutmeg aroma filling the house..

There is always a reason to crank up the oven and fill it with both savoury and sweet creations that we prepare from scratch. It gives us a sense of accomplishment, showing friends and family we care without uttering a word. The face of your “tasters” will give you an indication of your successes….or failures. The garlic- roasted rosemary lamb, golden baked scalloped potatoes,the freshly glazed maple brown sugar carrots or my newest “try” a lemon meringue trifle…..
